Sally's NY again

Hello, everyone,
（日本語は下にあります）

I recorded a new album in NY with Triforce quartet
and flutist Maho in the first week of October.

We met in a studio in Brooklyn and had a lot of fun.

Triforce played with me when I went to Washinton D.C for MAGFest.

Maho Azuma lives in London and works as a flutist and a translator.

They adapted my pieces and created beautiful music.

Chris, Jacob, Stanley, Chad, and Maho, 

thank you for wonderful performance during this project.

And, thank you for being kind and patient.

I'm happy to have played with you.

I really enjoyed it!

Brooklyn is an interesting place.

I could feel American lifestyle better than the last time
I visited the U.S.

I wanted to stay a little longer.

But I had to come back from the U. S quickly.

I had to record a few parts in Tokyo with a vocalist.

And I have to start editing soon.

I'll complete it in the near the futere.

Please be a little bit more patient.

次に出す某アルバムのレコーディングのため

私Sallyは再びNYへ行ってまいりました

相変わらずコンピューターミュージックサウンドが中心ではありますが

今回は生楽器のアレンジも入れてみよう！と、言うことで

レーベルのお力添えもあり

１月のワシントンでのライブでご一緒した

Triforce quartetの皆さんにお願いしてみたところ

快く参加してくれるとのお返事をいただき

じゃあ生ピアノも一緒に録ってしまおうということで

喜び勇んで東海岸まで飛んで行きました

前日にリハーサルをしましたが

Triforceの皆さんも、新たにお願いしたボストン在住の

Flute奏者のMahoさんも

ぴったり息が合っていて、素晴らしい演奏で

何も言うことはなかったです

私のピアノが一番下手でした・・・くう・・（泣）

4泊6日かな、飛んでいる時間も入れると

昼夜がめちゃくちゃになっていた生活でしたが

時差ボケとか言ってる間もなく

寝られる時に眠り、食べられる時に食べ

ある意味充実した楽しい時間でした

お会いした方々皆さま、英語のままならない私に

優しくしていただいて、ゆっくり話していただいて

辛抱強く待っていただいて、本当に感謝しております

もうこんなことは滅多にあるもんじゃないです

ありがたいことです

前回訪れたNYは大変寒かった上に

観光名所となっているところへしか行きませんでしたが

今回は、Triforceの方々の活動拠点（なのかな？）となる

Brooklynを訪ねることになったおかげで

前回よりもちょっとアメリカの人たちの生活が感じられたような

そんな印象深い旅となりました

さてそしてアルバムの方は鋭意制作中！
