Sally's Houston trip

Hello everyone,

Recently, there were many disasters in Japan.

They were very serious.
I pray for everyone to recover quickly and stay safe.

After my performance in Houston, 

a very big typhoon was approaching Japan.

But I was able to return safely to Japan.

I had so much fun during my performance in Houston.

Many people came to the show.

I challenged myself to speak English during the show. 

I was stressed.

It was not perfect, but everyone seemed to be having fun.

I was really relieved to see that.

My supporting musicians were students of the music college.

We didn't have enough time for rehearsal.

In spite of that, they worked hard on my complex music.

Thank you guys for playing with me.

Cresendo who was the organizer invited me as a guest.

He came to pick me up from the airport. 

Besides that, he invited us to a barbeque party at his home, 

and he took me to the NASA Space Center.

Houston is a very large city, but he would drive me everywhere.

That's very kind of you, Cresendo, thank you!

My MC speech in English was almost successful.

I still have a lot to learn.

But this show's staff, musicians, and the audience, 

showed me much support and understanding.

I was glad to get so much kindness from everyone.

I would like to see you all again.

ここのところ日本は多くの災害にさらされています・・・

一刻も早く被災地の方々に心の平和が訪れますように

私はテキサスまでライブに行き

台風と正面衝突することなく無事戻ってまいりました

テキサスはアメリカの一番南

(ん？フロリダかな？）

日本だと九州くらいの位置にあるんですね

広～い、暑～い、食事の量多～い

南部のせいか、みんなのんびり

ゆったり過ごしている感じです

ライブの前日は関係者一同で

主催者のおうちでバーベキューパーティ・・

これって前夜祭ですか？

本番前日に日本だとありえない光景が・・

楽しかったのでしっかり飲み食いしちゃったけど

今回、バックのオーケストラのお手伝いをしてくれたのは

音楽大学在学中の学生さん

みんな可愛い～

なかなかリハーサルがちゃんと取れず

ほとんどぶっつけ状態でみんなスコアの上を彷徨っていて

もうおばさんは心配で指揮までしちゃったのだけど

なんとか最後まで頑張ってくれました

そして初めて英語でMCやりました！

もちろんカンペ作っていったんですが ^^;

ちょっとだけ冗句を入れてみたんだけど

ウケた！！やったー！！

Panzerファンの方が結構いらしてくれて

しかも他の州からも見に来てくれた方がいて

とても嬉しかったです！

「わざわざテキサスまで来てくれてありがとう！」

と言ってくれたファンの方がいました

色々大変なことはありますが

こういう時に本当にやって良かった、行って良かった

というのをしみじみ感じます

こういう人たちのために音楽を続けたいといつも思います

そしてMCはできても相変わらず、英会話はできないんですね・・

やっぱり歳かなあ、覚えてもすぐ抜けちゃうし

とっさに出て来ないし

入国管理局や荷物検査ではいつもOfficerと漫才になっちゃうし

スタッフの皆さん色々伝わらなくてごめんなさい

それにも関わらずフォローしてもらい

優しくしてもらって大変お世話になりました

On September 2nd, Metroid Metal's 15th Anniversary Jamfest 

will be held in Huston, Texas.

I'll join this event. The venue is 'Warehouse live'.

It was unexpected and I'm very excited about it.

My live event in the U.S will be the 2nd performance

following the one in January last year.

This time, I'm mainly going to play music from 

"Resurrection: Panzer Dragoon Saga 

20th Anniversary Arrangement" album.

This might be one of the rare opportunities to listen to Panzer Dragoon's music live.

Since I composed this soundtrack, I have not been so active.

I don't know whether I'll have another chance to perform in the U.S.
Please come and see me there!

I'm out of shape, lately. I got a little fat.

I want to lose weight before this trip!

Of course, I do my best both!

みなさん、こんにちは！

春のライブのお話は残念な結果となりましたが

今回はテキサス、ヒューストンのRE:Playというイベントから

Panzer関連のライブのオファーを頂きました

とうとう宇宙への出発点まで来てしまいました

（何の関係が・・ていうか発射台はヒューストンじゃないし!!^^;;）

毎回、海外からゲストを呼んで

開催されているゲームミュージック中心の

ライブイベントだそうですが

昨年はサイレントヒルシリーズの山岡晃さんが

出演されています

ここのところ、実現の可、不可を問わず

海外からのオファーを少しづついただくようになり

大変嬉しく思っています

こんなチャンスはそうそうないだろうと

毎回、全力を尽くして臨んでいるわけですが

その後も続いているのはありがたいことです

出版物も売れ行き好調で嬉しい限り

今回は、というか今回も諸事情ありまして

また違うメンバーで演奏します

おかげで準備にはいつもどきどきしているのですが

ライブや出張の度に、言葉が思うように通じなくても

新たな出会いがあるのはとても素敵でわくわくします

しかしおかげで最近茜の活動がままならず・・

昨年のワシントン以来、チャンスがありません

というか日本の皆さんにはすでにワシントン以前から

すっかりご無沙汰しています・・

（ワシントンは映像のみでしたし・・）

実は企画していることはあるんですが・・

もうしばらくお待ちを・・！

今後も悔いなく前進できたらいいなと思ってます
